Hamsa or Pomegranate

Noam was born and raised in Jerusalem where she still resides and absolutely loves. She is married to a Russian Swiss, so she does travel often out of Jerusalem, mainly to visit beautiful Geneva.

In her earlier years, she studied the Gemara and Halakha in the Lindenbaum Midrasha and then went on to do her National Service in the Western Wall Tunnels where she guided many tourists around the Old City of Jerusalem. That is when she knew she had to do something that was connected to people.

She painted all of her life and loved creating, but she never thought she could make a living out of it, so she put that aside and went on to Bar Ilan University to study social work. Once graduated, she went on to work as a social worker and then decided to continue on to her Masters Sociology and Social Work.

In the middle of her MA, a friend of hers who knew about her “hidden” talent asked her to paint her Ketubah, Noam accepted and the rest is history... This one Ketubah painting, the process of being a small part of her friend’s happiness inspired Noam to follow her true passion - painting and being part of couple’s happiness.

She created KetubaHome less than a year ago and since then has created many personalised Ketubot.

We are very lucky to have her as our first Spring Box partner to include a beautiful Home Blessing in English and Hebrew AND our first Summer Box partner to include a Colorful Hamsa or a Pomegranate Home Blessing .

Inspiring.

If you are ever in Jerusalem, you will be able to find Noam in her studio during the day and with her two beautiful little girls Rut and Elisheva the rest of her time.
