We’ve put together a list of 12 best snacks/foods to bring back for yourself or your loved ones that we are sure you/they will absolutely LOVE.

1- Bissli

Can be found anywhere: Supermarket, kiosk (makolet)

2- Pop-rocks-style Israeli chocolate

Fun novelty, kids absolutely love it. It is milk chocolate that pops in your mouth. Can be found in any supermarket, kiosk.

3- Halva & tahini snacks.

Can be found anywhere. Homemade ones can be found in almost any shook.

4- Unique spice blends

To make Israeli flavors at home, people especially love zaatar, shawarma spice and spices to add onto rice. You can find this in almost any shook, but we especially like the levinsky shook in South Tel Aviv for spice shopping.

5- Dates

All the dates! Majoul dates are the most chunky ones. You can get dates in any supermarket or in any shook.

6- Date Snacks

Date bars are amazing! Nature shops have them.

7- Olives

Can be found anywhere, and most stores are used to travelers. Ask them to airpressure the bag for you so it’s safe for traveling

8- Israeli Olive Oil

Can be found anywhere. Even supermarket olive oil is great, but there are many boutique stores with great olive oil.

9- Israeli Honey

Can be found anywhere, but there are many boutique stores with local honey

10- Special Teas!

We especially recommend taking home nana tea from ceremonie tea or adanim. That’s the basic, then there are many other fun local flavors!

11- Black coffee!

If you love coffee as much as we do, once you are in Israel and drink black coffee, you will always want to have a bag in your pantry. The regular black coffee can be found in any supermarket. If you want something extraordinary, talk to us!

12- Tea Infusions

Something special only in Israel. Tea from dried fruit and spices that is then edible. You can get this in any shook.
